Description:

Recommended for 3 years old 

NEW CLASS for you and your little one. Two 6-week sessions. First session January 12-Februay 16. Second session March 23-April 27. Toddlers interact with each other by waving hello, singing songs, using noise makers, completing an obstacle course, and dancing to the own beat of their heart.

Creative Movement 

Class Length:

Description:

Recommended for 4 years old/PreK

Very basic ballet, motor skills development, shaping, creative process.

Primary 

Class Length:

Description:

 Recommended for 5 years old/Kindergarten

Expanding ballet skills, continued motor skill development, mastery of leaping, skipping & jumping.

Ballet I 

 Class Length:

1 Hour

 

Description:

Recommended for 6 years old/First Grade

Begin refining ballet technique and skills, vocabulary, and class etiquette.

Location:

Ballet II

Class Length:

1 Hour

 

Description:

Recommended for 7-8 years old

Continue refining ballet technique and skills, vocabulary, and class etiquette.

Location:

 Studio II with Ms. Renee

Ballet III

Class Length:

1 Hour and 15 Minutes

 

Description:

Recommended for 9-10 years old

Expand understanding and mastery of ballet technique, vocabulary, class etiquette, artistry, and performance expectations.

Ballet Series Levels IV-VII

Description:

Continue refining and developing artistry, working towards the mastery of ballet techniques, vocabulary, class and performance expectations at each level. Students must be placed in the appropriate level by teachers/staff. Level VI students must be at least 11 years old.

Students in Level IV must take two classes per week. 

Students in levels V, VI, or VII must take a minimum of two ballet classes per week.

Stretch & Strengthening

Class Length:

1 Hour

Description:

Stretch in deeper ways you have never before. Uses equipment such as: stretch bands, dumbbells, kettlebells, foam rollers, TheraBand, etc. Develop core strength and toning of muscles.

NEW class, recommended for students in levels IV, V, VI, & VII.

Location:

Pre-Pointe 

Class Length:

1 Hour

Description:

Elective class, recommended for students in levels IV, V, VI or VII. Everyone who wants to strengthen their feet and develop the right alignment for Pointe is welcome.

Variations

Description:

Learn repertoire from Professional Ballet Companies all over the world. In ballet, a variation (sometimes referred to as a pas seul, meaning to dance alone) is a solo dance. In a classical grand pas de deux, the ballerina and danseur each perform a variation.

Beginning & Advanced Modern

Description: 

Elective class, beginning recommended for students in levels IV, & V. Advanced recommended for VI, & VII. Learn Modern Dance technique, vocabulary, floor and center work for advanced experienced levels.

Must be placed by teacher or staff.

Musical Theatre (NEW this Spring!)

Description:

Recommended for Level IV-VII

Come sing and dance with Miss Stacie this Spring during a 1-hour class learning Fosse choreography and the proper form of theatrical performance that combines songs, spoken dialogues, acting, using emotion and dance.
